One of the keys to a well functioning and effective team is self-insight. Another is a big amount of openess. Here you can read a bit more about the person that started Advenire and what brought me where I am today.
My interest for groups and group dynamics kicked off during my three years at the University of Physical Education in Stockholm where I studied to become a Physical Education Teacher. This increased during my three years in the United States where I worked with groups and individuals in an adventure setting at Camp Horizons, Horizons Consulting Inc and Sheridan School Mountain Campus. This is where I first learned about Lessons from Geese that have travelled with me ever since.
After that I have worked as a tour guide and conference host in Spain, followed by two intense years of work with group development and conference activities in Sweden at Island of Adventures, Äventyrens Ö, outside of Stockholm.
As the demand for competence, quality and trainings over longer periods of time has increased, I started attending several trainings to meet this demand and to develop mine and Advenires skills further. These trainings include:
- Advanced Teambuilding Facilitation, Shepherds Ford, Virginia, USA
- 3-step Emotional debriefing, SOSCON, Norway
- UGL (Development of Group and Leader), Gällösta, Sweden
- FUGL (UGL Step 2) och HUGL (UGL Facilitator training), Defence Academy, Sweden
- Essentials of Psychosynthesis, PsykosyntesAkademin, Stockholm, Sweden
- The Forgiveness Process, Guy Petitte, Stockholm, Sweden
- Spiritual Group Leadership, Jonathan Reitmann, London, England
